What Happened To The Justice League On Jlu…?

Between the episode in which Lex Lutjor merged into one entity and the final episode in which Luthor saves the world from Darkseid?
In the former episode Flash defeated the composite Brainiac Luthor, and the JLU was going to disband-what happened between this episode and the final one?
I’m confused.

    He joined the team with all those super villains, over threw Gorilla Grod, made the sorceress revive Dark SIde but he meant to revive Brainiac.
