He was once destroyed in Gotham when Batman & Nightwing used a batarang to disable him for a minute so he couldn’t use Flashes speed. Then Batman finished the job with some of his many gadgets. On the cartoon Martian Manhunter allowed him to absorb his powers do the android could see that he was being used by Lex Luthor. He left after denouncing the petty squabbles of humans. His second appearence he was talked out of destroying everything by Dr. Fate. So usually the android’s lack of understanding about humanity causes him to just leave with battles in his favor in the search of knowledge & understanding.
